C.H.A.I.N. 3
The third and most ambitious entry in the C.H.A.I.N. experimental collaborative series, directing a spatially-distributed collaborative development network with 120+ contributors. This project establishes new paradigms for decentralized creative production at an unprecedented scale. I developed a comprehensive technical infrastructure including a real-time analytics dashboard ↗ where 100+ developers collaboratively map out the network, collect bugs, identify node health, and detect illegal actions (such as accessing wrong nodes or attempting to write illegal data to shared save data). We shifted from a Google Sheet and Drive-based system to an entirely PHP-based system with automated build and sync to itch.io, allowing developers to quickly see and test new builds in the full network. As Co-Director, I'm leading both the technical infrastructure and creative coordination for this groundbreaking experiment in mass collaborative game development.
